POSITION SUMMARY
As a Sales Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in optimizing sales processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring the seamless execution of sales strategies. You will collaborate with the sales team, marketing, finance, and other departments to support and drive sales performance.

Responsible for modeling, documenting, analyzing, and designing the sales department’s business processes. Oversee the implementation of process improvements within the Sales department. Manage, coach, and set direction for a team of sales administrators in their roles.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales Process Optimization: Analyze and improve sales processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Implement best practices and tools to streamline workflows.
  • Data Management: Oversee the management and integrity of sales data. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales metrics and KPIs.
  • CRM Management: Manage and optimize the use of CRM systems. Ensure the sales team is effectively utilizing CRM tools to track and manage customer interactions.
  • Sales Training and Support: Provide training and support to the sales team on processes, tools, and best practices. Develop and deliver training programs to enhance sales skills and knowledge.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, finance, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Performance Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of sales performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights to sales leadership.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide visibility into sales performance. Present findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist Marketing team in determining customer outreach methods
Management of Staff
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the efforts of Sales Administrators toward attainment of goals and objectives.
Develop staff
  • Provide advice and guidance to staff regarding client relationships and projects.
  • Identify developmental and growth opportunities for staff members.
  • Ensure appropriate training is provided to staff.
  • Provide coaching, communication, feedback and completes formal performance appraisals for each assigned staff member.
  • Participate in the selection process for new employees to ensure adequate staffing.
  • Develop and maintain an environment that is optimal for employee productivity, employee engagement and job satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with Manager and the People Department to determine appropriate disciplinary actions for performance conduct quality attendance or other actions that are deemed inappropriate or non-productive.
  • Measure and constantly adjust activities to increase productivity and efficiency for staff and processes.
    • Set and achieve key performance measures
    • Balance resources to workload and provide recommendations to adjust
    • Perform special projects as needed
    • Establish and manage significant department budgets and assets for department
REQUIREMENTS
Education/ Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales operations, sales management, or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong leadership skills to evaluate ongoing sales team performance and provide training and coaching when necessary
  • Communication skills for effective verbal and written communications with sales teams, operations specialists, collaborating departments and upper management
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills to identify opportunities for sales process improvements and develop and implement new strategies
  • Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities
  • Technology skills to utilize applications including HubSpot, Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Research and reporting skills to analyze sales data and consumer trends
PREFERRED EDUATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field
PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Sit Frequently at a desk
  • Frequent fine hand and finger movements (keyboard, writing, mouse movement)
  • Continual close visual acuity for reading
  • Hearing and Speaking for communication within and outside of company.
  • May be required to lift/push/pull up to 10 pounds for set up/movement of office equipment,
