POSITION SUMMARY
The Electromechanical Technical Support Representative provides remote technical support to field technicians, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving issues across a wide range of electromechanical devices.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prompt and professional technical support to field technicians via phone.
- Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and offer effective solutions to ensure timely customer issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of technician interactions, equipment issues, parts requirements, and customer communications.
- Develop and foster strong working relationships with field technicians to promote long-term success and service excellence.
- Read and interpret mechanical schematics and wiring diagrams to support troubleshooting efforts.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the field of printer/copier/ electro-mechanical devices repair
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong mechanical and electronic aptitude
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to effectively multitasks and prioritize task
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across departments
- Ability to earn manufacture product certification through assigned training programs
- Regular and consistent attendance
